LABUAN: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim should heed the rampant calls made nation-wide by troubled parents following the death of a 13-year-old schoolgirl in Papar and drop Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek in the upcoming Cabinet reshuffle.
“It cannot be that there is nobody else in Pakatan Harapan who is suitable for the job,” said activist Haji Abdul Jalil Ghani.
“The well-attended protest assemblies by Malaysians from diverse backgrounds calling for ‘Justice for Zara’ had delivered a strong message and even capitalised by some parties at the recent Sabah election is evidence of public sentiments that deserve attention,” he said.
The anger emerged when Zara Qairina Mahathir, a student of SMK Agama Tun Mustapha, was found in the drain at 3am and later pronounced dead.
