KOTA KINABALU: The new Sabah Cabinet was formed on the shared commitment of its component parties to set a clear framework for the State’s direction, said GRS deputy secretary-general Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali (

Facebook post on Monday.
He said the voices of the five Independent assemblymen, all formerly linked to GRS before Nomination Day, now carry significant weight in their new capacity.

Armizan stressed that prioritising Sabah’s rights and interests remains the core agenda, consistent with the election pledges made by all parties and assemblymen involved.
He said the Cabinet will outline its governing framework and key priorities after its first meeting, ensuring the public is kept informed.
Armizan added that while no single coalition secured a simple majority, voters clearly desired a functioning government capable of delivering meaningful change through a stable, inclusive and accountable administration.
