KOTA KINABALU: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) expressed confidence that Sabah could reach RM10 billion in revenue by 2030 if it earns a renewed mandate in the 17th Sabah General Election.
GRS deputy secretary-general Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali (

He noted that revenue rose from RM5.45 billion in 2021 to nearly RM7 billion in 2024, almost doubling the RM3.26 billion recorded in 2020, the final year of the previous administration.
Armizan also highlighted the State’s strengthened reserves, which increased from RM2.9 billion in 2020 to RM8.6 billion as of September this year.
He said these gains provide the foundation for GRS to pursue its 2030 target under the upcoming SMJ 2.0 plan if voters return the coalition to government.
