PAPAR: Collaboration and close coordination between relevant departments and agencies is vital to ensure all parties are prepared and organised to face the monsoon season.Sabah Community Development and People’s Wellbeing Minister Datuk Ir. Shahelmy Yahya said that a solid relationship between departments and agencies should exist as it would be a great help not just in tackling issues, especially during the rainy season but also to address and help those affected by it.
He said this would at least give the people – especially in flood prone districts or areas – a relief when faced with unwanted disasters particularly involving floods.
