Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Cheshire Home and Services received a Nissan Serena mobility van donated by the Japanese Government which would aid the home’s ‘Cheshire Mobility’ wheelchair lift service.The vehicle was purchased with a grant worth RM164,587.58 funded through the Japanese Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Project (GGP).
Consular Office of Japan in Kota Kinabalu Head Kako Shiho officially handed over the van to Sabah Cheshire Home and Services President Lawrence Hee on Wednesday, witnessed by Community Development and People’s Wellbeing Minister Datuk Ir Shahelmey Yahya.
