Kota Kinabalu: An unemployed man was jailed four months and fined RM1,000 or two months in jail for having stolen property.
Hadirkhan Azizullah, 22, pleaded guilty before Magistrate Dzul Elmy Yunus to having a yellow gas cylinder, a single-burner gas stove with stand and a grey luggage bag containing clothing belonging to one Marsidi Marsu at the Telipok Settlement Scheme parking area at about 6pm on June 6.

The offence under Section 411 of the Penal Code carries a jail term of up to five years, a fine, or both, on conviction.
The prosecution informed the court that the items were reported stolen from the complainant’s house, which was broken into.
Following investigations, the police arrested Hadirkhan and recovered a gas cylinder, a single-burner gas stove and a luggage bag containing clothing from him.
The complainant identified all the seized items as his property.
In a separate case, a man was fined RM3,000 or jailed six months for disposing of stolen property.
Alven Noel pleaded guilty to have intentionally disposed of a white cash box belonging to one Felicity Sindin in a bushy area at Kg Kituau, Penampang, at 4pm on June 4.
The offence under Section 414 of the Penal Code carries a jail term of up to seven years, a fine, or both, on conviction.
The court heard from the prosecution that on May 28, the complainant discovered that the door and lock of her shop, Kg Tulung Pork Shop in Inobong, Penampang, had been damaged.
A check inside the premises found that a cash box and a solar-powered CCTV unit had been stolen, resulting in losses estimated at RM1,700.
Police arrested Alven at a house in Kg Limbanak, Penampang, on June 4.
During investigations, he led police to a bushy area in Kg Kituau where the stolen cash box had been discarded.
The complainant later identified the recovered cash box as her property.
