XIANYANG: Three men in China’s Hubei Province went viral after they were seen pushing their car on a road at night after drinking alcohol.

According to Henan Economic Daily, the men had just finished drinking when they decided to push the vehicle home instead of driving it.

A video circulating online showed two men pushing the car from behind while another man held the steering wheel from outside the vehicle.

The trio reportedly believed that since the engine was off and nobody was driving, they would not be considered to have driven under the influence.

Police later confirmed the incident did not amount to drink-driving as the vehicle was not being driven.

However, the men were still found to have violated traffic regulations by pushing the car on the road in a manner that could affect other road users.
