KUDAT: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) will continue to uphold unity among members, political stability and leadership integrity as the party’s three core principles, said acting president Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam.

He said the principles had formed the foundation of PBS since its establishment and continued to guide its struggle for the people and Sabah.

Speaking at the 41st annual general meeting of Tanjong Kapor PBS here, Joachim said political stability was essential to ensure the effective and continuous implementation of development policies.

He said PBS was a party for all Sabahans and stressed the importance of strengthening unity within the party while working with political partners to maintain stability throughout the State.

Joachim also said the annual general meeting served as an important platform to assess the party’s progress, strengthen unity and chart its direction for future challenges, while the division proposed that the party president and deputy president posts remain uncontested in the central party election and called for allocations for divisions not represented by PBS.
