Kota Kinabalu: Two State Sukma-bound female foil archers Aries Eve and Amelia Chin are set to embark on a two-week training journey in Hong Kong.

Their training at the Hong Kong Fencing School will be under coach Wong Tsan, who is notable for having coached Olympic champion Cheung Ka Long.

State coach Kelvin Chung revealed one of the fencers Sonia Ling Tian Jia was unable to make the trip due to her A-level preparation.

However, he is hopeful that the duo’s training stint with a world class coach will enhance the State women foil team’s chances of winning a medal at the Sukma Games.
