PUTATAN: The Tanjung Keramat constituency is positioned as a primary beneficiary of the Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) 2.0 framework, with local leadership leveraging state-backed initiatives to transform Putatan into a breeding ground for Sabah’s future elite.
Tanjung Keramat Assemblyman Shah Alfie Yahya revealed that the SMJ 2.0 roadmap is now the “major catalyst” for a localised educational revolution, moving beyond basic schooling to focus on producing competitive, technologically-adept graduates.
Speaking at the SMK Putatan Teachers’ Day celebration, Shah Alfie said that his office is aggressively aligning with Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor’s vision by upgrading school infrastructure and providing direct equipment assistance to ensure Putatan’s youth are not left behind in a rapidly evolving digital era.
By integrating government-led educational blueprints with grassroots infrastructure improvements, the representative aims to shift the district’s narrative from traditional learning to a high-performance intellectual hub, ensuring Putatan remains a central pillar of Sabah’s leadership pipeline.
