KUDAT: Two houses, two store rooms and a Perodua Kancil were damaged in a fire at Taman Pakka 3 here on Friday morning.

The Sabah Fire and Rescue Department said the fire involved two semi-permanent houses, both sustaining 10 per cent damage, while two non-permanent store rooms and the vehicle were destroyed in the incident.

The department said no injuries were reported and the operation involving 24 personnel from the Kudat Fire and Rescue Station and Kampung Ayer volunteer fire brigade was brought under control at 10.07am before ending at 1.25pm after firefighters ensured the area was safe.
