Tuaran: One of the horses (pic) at the Marabahai Spur Road roundabout in the district collapsed on Sunday.

According to some, it happened because the replica’s structure was no longer sturdy. 

Others suggested it was caused by a vehicle collision.

The replica was found lying flat within the roundabout area, drawing the attention of passing motorists.

The relevant authorities are expected to carry out further inspections to identify the exact cause of the incident, in addition to undertaking repair work and safety measures to prevent a recurrence.

The public is also advised to remain cautious when passing through the area while clearing and inspection works are underway.
