PENAMPANG: A diesel tanker lorry was destroyed in a fire along Jalan Kampung Timpangoh Sugud, here, on Saturday morning.
The Fire and Rescue Department received a call regarding the incident at 9.56am before a team from the Penampang Fire and Rescue Station was dispatched to the scene.

Operations Commander PBK I Benny Lim said firefighters arrived about 10 minutes later and found the tanker lorry already 60 per cent burnt.
He said the lorry was not carrying any diesel load at the time of the incident.
Firefighters managed to bring the situation under control at 10.20am and no injuries were reported in the incident.
A total of nine firefighters, assisted by a Fire Rescue Tender (FRT) and an Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) vehicle, were involved in the operation.
The operation ended at 10.48am after firefighters ensured there were no further dangers at the location.
