Man allegedly poses as boyfriend to access fitting room area

KUALA LUMPUR: A man allegedly posed as a woman’s boyfriend to gain access to a fitting room area at a clothing store in the city.

According to China Press, the suspect reportedly told store staff that he was the woman’s partner, allowing him to approach the fitting room more easily.

The incident raised concern after it was shared online, with claims that the man used the opportunity to spy on the woman while she was inside the fitting room.

A police report has been lodged, although details of any arrests or further action have not been disclosed.
