Stefani recalled growing up in an Italian Catholic household where attending catechism classes and saying grace each night were part of daily life, adding that her mother planted the “seed of faith” she believes has remained with her.
She said her faith has continued to evolve and now describes herself as a “baby Christian” who is “certainly a work in progress”.
Stefani also shared that she discovered she was pregnant with Apollo about four weeks after her eldest son, Kingston, now 19, began praying for another sibling, describing the birth at age 44 as “totally a full-on gift” and “the first miracle”.
