PENANG: Residents in Simpang Ampat, Seberang Perai, were startled when a 12-foot python was discovered inside a toilet at a school.

Several locals quickly stepped in to capture the large snake before handing it over to the authorities for further action.

According to a Facebook post by Penang Kini, the discovery caused a stir when the python was found hiding inside a toilet bowl at the school.

Some online comments suggested snakes may occasionally enter toilets through sewage systems, roof vents or gaps in plumbing, particularly in older buildings.
