KUALA LUMPUR: Sabah MPs and Senators are ready to back legal action if negotiations on the state’s 40pc constitutional revenue entitlement fail by April 15.
Tuaran MP Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau said slow progress since the Oct 17, 2025 High Court ruling has left just 44 days to meet the 180-day deadline.

Lawmakers urged more frequent talks, a federal revenue tracking system from 1974 onward, and reaffirmed Sabah’s demand for the Federal Government to withdraw its appeal.
The townhall and briefing included Sabah MPs, Senators, and the Sabah Law Society legal team, showing unified support to enforce the state’s constitutional rights.
