SEREMBAN: IJM Land Berhad will usher in the Year of the Horse with its annual Chap Goh Mei celebration on March 7, at S2 Heights Aman here.
The event, held since 2014 and marking its 11th edition this year, will be jointly organised with Astro Audio My Fm, Melody and Goxuan under the themed concert “My Fm Melody Goxuan Kudada Chap Goh Mei Party”.

Chief Operating Officer Datuk Chai Kian Soon said the celebration reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening community ties and will be held at S2 Heights Aman for the first time, set against a lakeside backdrop surrounded by rolling hills.
“For the first time, we’re proud to partner with My Fm, Melody, and Goxuan to present the spectacular Kudada Chap Goh Mei Party,” he said, adding that the collaboration combines entertainment and cultural celebration.
The celebration will feature a ‘Hooves of Joy’ theme decor, including a 10-foot-tall illuminated horse head at the centre of the lake and 222 hand-painted horse models by students from Art Corridor Studio and crafted by Artlane Advertising, symbolising harmony and prosperity.
Nippon Paint, the event’s paint sponsor, supported the artistic elements, with its General Manager Mr Tay Sze Tuck stating that the collaboration blends creativity, tradition and community spirit.
The celebration begins at 5pm with food stalls, traditional riddles, interactive games, a Wishing Wall, a Fireside Tea Gathering and exclusive Chinese New Year gifts for the first 1,118 visitors, alongside cultural performances such as the 24 Festive Drums by SMJK Chan Wa, dance routines and an LED high-pole lion dance performance.
The evening will conclude with Astro Audio’s themed concert featuring Crystal Ong, Danny Koo, Phei Yong, Priscilla Abby, 3P, Steady Gang, Kaka, Henn, Bingyen & friends and 1119, as well as radio announcers from the three stations, followed by a fireworks display over S2 Heights Aman.
