KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah government will continue backing business events that strengthen investment engagement and regional collaboration, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said at the BE in Sabah Forum 2026 in Kota Kinabalu.
He described business events as key platforms for industry growth, investment dialogue and participation by local enterprises and young professionals, supporting inclusive and sustainable development.
Investor confidence, he added, relies on policy consistency, clear direction and reliable execution, with such forums bridging policy and implementation.
Hajiji said Sabah’s East ASEAN position offers strong potential for cross-border cooperation, supported by facilities such as the Sabah International Convention Centre and the Sabah Convention Bureau, which enhance readiness for international events.
He stressed the state’s commitment to professional standards, coordinated delivery and long-term economic value.
