PENAMPANG: The “Flower Blooms, Prosperous Community (Program Bunga Indah, Komuniti Sejahtera)” was held near the Penampang Municipal Council (MPP) field, here, recently.
The programme saw the participation of members of Rakan Lestari Penampang, MPP councillors from the Urban Beautification Committee, as well as MPP officers and staff.

Rakan Lestari Penampang Chairman Richard Chong welcomed the participation of all parties and expressed appreciation for the strong cooperation shown.
He hoped the flower-planting activity would contribute collectively to the beautification of Penampang town.
“Through this flower-planting initiative, local communities are encouraged to take proactive steps and responsibility in enhancing and maintaining their surroundings so they can create a more beautiful, clean and harmonious town,” he said.
The programme reflects the continuous commitment of MPP, together with strategic partners and the local community, in promoting urban beautification efforts and fostering greater awareness of environmental sustainability.
Also present and actively participating were MPP Secretary Robert Malangkig and the Chairman of the Sabah Pest Management Association (Sipma) Melvin Liew.
