Sabah Ports supports digital learning at SK Gantisan

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Ports Sdn Bhd (SPSB), a wholly owned subsidiary of Suria Capital Holdings Berhad, has strengthened its commitment to community development and education by contributing a Smart TV to Sekolah Kebangsaan Gantisan, Sapangar Bay.

The handover ceremony was held at the school’s multipurpose hall.

The Smart TV will be used to support teaching and learning activities, academic and co-curricular programmes, presentations, and official school events. The contribution represents a shift towards more modern, practical, and user-friendly digital display systems compared to conventional projectors.

The contribution forms part of SPSB’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening collaboration between industry and educational institutions in developing future human capital.

The contribution was presented by Lai Fui Nar, General Manager (Technical & Process Improvement), accompanied by Dahlia Ismail, Acting Deputy General Manager (Corporate Services) cum Senior Manager (Legal), and Syahrul Safwan bin Faisyal, Assistant Manager (Customer Relations & Government Liaison).

Receiving the contribution were Asma Hj. Ahmad, Principal of SK Gantisan, and Afini bin Ahmad, President of the Parent-Teacher Association, accompanied by the school’s senior teachers.
