PAPAR: The WSG Group will sponsor movie tickets for the January launch of Indonesian film “Ozora” at the 10Star Cinemas in Parklane City, said its Managing Director Datuk Susan Wong Siew Guen.
The film tells the true story of an Indonesian father’s court battle for justice after his son was brutally assaulted in 2023, resulting in injuries that nearly proved fatal.
The Chief Executive Officer of 10Star Cinemas Sdn Bhd, Onn Norshal Hamzah, said “Ozora” centres on a bullying victim whose father took legal action against the perpetrator, described as a key government figure in Indonesia.
“The father had fought in court and ultimately won the case,” Onn Norshal said.
The film’s cast members will attend the screening, which is part of efforts to raise awareness about bullying in the community.
“The film is an approach to promote anti-bullying campaign to the community,” Onn Norshal said.
He thanked Susan for supporting the initiative through the ticket sponsorship, noting that the screening aims to promote anti-bullying awareness among local audiences.
The exact date for the January launch has not yet been announced.
