KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor praised Sabah FC for their commendable run to the FA Cup final, describing it as a major achievement that made the people of Sabah proud.
Although the final result did not favour the Rhinos, Hajiji said the team’s discipline, effort and fighting spirit throughout the tournament proved Sabah FC’s ability to compete among Malaysia’s top football clubs.

He congratulated the players and coaching staff for their hard work, sacrifice and dedication, which he said had brought honour to the state.
Hajiji also expressed his appreciation to Sabah FC supporters for their unwavering support, whether at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil or from home in Sabah, describing them as the team’s true strength.
He expressed confidence that Sabah FC would continue to improve and move forward, adding that the state government remains committed to supporting the development of football in Sabah.
