PUTRAJAYA: National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) Deputy Director-General Datuk Mohd Razali Wahab has been appointed as Sabah Federal Secretary, effective Tuesday.
Chief Secretary to the Government, Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar, in a statement, congratulated Mohd Razali, 59, on the appointment.
Mohd Razali holds a Bachelor of Social and Infrastructure Management (Hons) from Universiti Malaya and a Master’s degree in Political Science from Meiji University, Japan.
He has over 31 years of experience in the civil service, starting his career as an assistant secretary at the Ministry of Information in 1994.
In 2022, he served as the Director of the Selangor Development Office before assuming the post of Nadma Deputy Director-General.
“With his leadership and experience, I am confident that government service delivery will remain excellent, bringing a positive impact to the well-being of the people, particularly in Sabah,” said Shamsul Azri.
