Kota Kinabalu: The Workers Union of Employees Provident Fund (EPF) Sabah has set up a Special Committee for reviewing the regional allowance for its Sabahan employees in the State.This initiative will pave the way for more collaboration with other workers unions of the statutory bodies in the State in resolving common issues faced by Sabahan as well as Sarawakian employees, like the regional allowance, promotion and other rights as enshrined in Malaysia Agreement 1963.
The other statutory bodies in Sabah which also have workers unions are Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN), Inland Revenue Board (IRB), Haj Fund Board, and Armed Forces Fund Board.
