Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor and wife Datin Seri Juliah Salag attended the State-level Thanksgiving Ceremony for the End of Year 1447 Hijrah and the Beginning of Year 1448 Hijrah at the Sabah State Mosque on Tuesday.

 

The ceremony was also attended by Sabah Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Musa Aman and Toh Puan Faridah Tussin, who joined in prayers and thanksgiving alongside Muslims across the state.

 

The programme featured the recitation of prayers for the end and beginning of the Hijrah year, Surah Yassin, tahlil and other religious observances as part of the state-level Maal Hijrah 1448H/2026M celebration.
