SINGAPORE: A Taoist priest has claimed that June 19 could be among the most auspicious days of the year to prepare what he described as powerful “holy water”.
In a TikTok video, Li Cheetong said the water was believed to be able to cleanse, remove bad luck and attract wealth.

He said this year’s timing was significant as it coincided with what he described as a rare alignment of fire-related elements during the Dragon Boat Festival period.
According to Cheetong, 2026 is the Year of the Fire Horse, while the month, date and timing on June 19 are also associated with the fire element in traditional Chinese metaphysics.
He said the process involved placing water outdoors under sunlight between 11am and 1pm to absorb strong Yang energy, adding that collecting rainwater would be even better.
