TAMBUNAN: A 15-year-old girl has gone missing more than a week ago.
Michelle Sabile, a student at SMK Tambunan, was last seen leaving her home on May 31, 2026, wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
According to the family, the teenager had asked for permission to go out, informing them that she wanted to spend time with her friends. She promised to return home afterwards.
However, the victim has failed to return to this day, and further checks revealed that the excuse she gave before leaving the house was false.
Efforts to locate the victim are still actively underway and the latest lead indicates that the last communication with her occurred via the Instagram application last Saturday.
Based on this information, the victim is believed to currently be in the vicinity of Kota Kinabalu.
The family is extremely concerned for the teenager’s safety and is appealing for help from members of the public who have any information or who may have spotted her to come forward.
