PUTRAJAYA: A Malaysian mother was forced to reschedule her flight after her toddler scribbled on her passport, leaving the travel document damaged.

The incident was shared on Threads by user @empatdua.ebonylane, who said her three-year-old child grabbed the passport while she was packing for a work trip and drew on several pages.

She later rushed to have the passport checked, but was informed by immigration officials that it was considered damaged and could not be used for travel.

The mother had to postpone her flight and pay additional costs to rearrange her travel plans.
