Kota Kinabalu: The Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu Pearl (RCKK Pearl) was honoured to sponsor and witness the successful installation ceremony of the Interact Club of Imperium International Secondary School (IISS) Kota Kinabalu for the term 2025–2026.
The meaningful event marked another important milestone in empowering youth leadership and community service through Rotary’s guiding motto, “Service Above Self.”

RCKK Pearl expressed delight in seeing many enthusiastic youths stepping forward to become part of the Rotary family. The students demonstrated remarkable confidence, vibrancy, creativity, and leadership potential, reflecting the strong culture and vision cultivated by the school.
Special appreciation was extended to the IISS Kota Kinabalu Principal Vasan Varathan for his unwavering support and commitment towards youth development and service learning.

We believe that by nurturing and mentoring our youths today, we are shaping a more compassionate, responsible and service-driven future for our community,” said Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu Pearl President Datin Dr Jeanette Tambakau.
The installation ceremony was attended by members of the Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu Pearl, including Youth Service Chair and Past President Majella Tan Marquez, Vice President and Past President Datuk Eliza Goh, Immediate Past President Chendramata Sinteh, President Elect Hanna Ghani Loh, and Rotarians Doris Lim, Ursula U, Erin Diane Komplin and Fauziah Mohd Noor.
The newly installed Interact Club Board of Directors for the 2025–2026 term is led by President Omar Redza Ahmad Rizal from Year 8, alongside Vice President Alaia Inessa Izharuddin, also from Year 8. Serving as Secretary is Din Jia Le Kyle from Year 10, while the role of Treasurer is held by Sophie Harper Stephens from Year 8.
Jacob Harper Stephens from Year 10 was appointed as Sergeant of Arms, and Tamara Nasran Leng from Year 10 serves as IU Director. Aleesya Adryana from Year 10 was appointed as Bakat Director, while Neal Isaiah Marcellus G Kissol from Year 10 takes on the role of Service Project Director.
Completing the board is Juliana Roxane Joseph from Year 7, who serves as Membership Director.
RCKK Pearl looks forward to mentoring and supporting the Interactors in their journey of leadership, service and personal growth, while nurturing the next generation of responsible citizens and changemakers in Sabah.
