SANDAKAN: Entrepreneurs affected by the Kampung Bahagia fire will receive a six-month loan moratorium under a Kuskop-led aid package.
Deputy Minister Datuk Mohamad Alamin said the initiative, involving Tekun Nasional, Bank Rakyat, and Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia, will ease financial pressure and help victims rebuild after losing businesses and income.
About 70 entrepreneurs and seven cooperatives are affected.
Additional aid includes cash assistance, hospital allowances, food supplies, and basic necessities distributed at temporary relief centres.
