KOTA KINABALU: Political activist Aksyah Nasrah said Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) coalition will be more streamlined and “focused” following the departure of United Sabah National Organisation (Usno).
He described the departure as a necessary evolution for state stability.
“It is trimming of the fat that will allow Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor to accelerate the Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) 2.0 agenda without distractions of internal coalition friction,” he said.
Aksyah asserted that the strength of a government is measured by its delivery to the people, not the quantity of parties under its umbrella.
