Usno exits GRS

KOTA KINABALU: Usno President Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia has formally resigned as Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) deputy chairman and all related government positions.

In a Facebook post by Warta Usno on Wednesday, it was mentioned that the resignation was conveyed during a meeting with Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, who is also GRS Chairman, on Tuesday.

The decision was subsequently unanimously endorsed on Wednesday, during the Usno Supreme Council (meeting to leave the GRS coalition.

The party cited a lack of alignment in governance and policy, particularly following the 17th Sabah Election, as among the initial reasons for its decision.
