RANAU: Residents of Kg. Timbua and surrounding areas have expressed growing frustration over persistent telecommunication network problems that have remained unresolved for more than two months, significantly disrupting daily life in the community.
According to resident representative Fadzil John Anthony, the ongoing service interruptions have affected communication, small business operations, students’ learning activities, and access to emergency assistance, placing considerable strain on households in the area.
He said residents have been experiencing weak, unstable, and frequently disconnected network coverage throughout the period, affecting almost the entire village and making basic communication increasingly difficult.
“This situation is very disappointing because residents are still required to pay service charges even though the quality of the network is far from satisfactory,” he said in a statement, Friday.
