According to a viral Threads post, the incident drew attention after a site manager and a cleaner approached the woman as she attempted to leave.
It was alleged the woman had collected fruit offerings using a reusable bag, with the site manager telling her, “What you’re doing is theft,” while she replied she did not know and believed the items should not go to waste.
The situation was later resolved after consultation with a supervisor, with no further action reported, although the incident sparked online discussion over respect for traditions and the handling of such offerings.
