SINGAPORE: A 61-year-old man pleaded guilty in court here recently to stealing hundreds of women’s underwear over a five-year period.
Dennis Kwek (
pic) was reportedly detained after a resident spotted him behaving suspiciously at a housing block in Bukit Batok in the early hours and stopped him when he attempted to flee.

Ten pieces of women’s underwear were found in his pockets at the time.
Police later searched his home and recovered seven bags containing 310 pieces of women’s underwear.
The court heard he had been committing the offences since 2019, and the case has been adjourned for further evaluation.
