Hajiji receives courtesy call from Mustapha

Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor welcomed a courtesy call from Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Sabah and Sarawak Affairs) Datuk Mustapha Sakmud at his office in Menara Kinabalu on Tuesday.

This marks Mustapha’s first official visit to Sabah since his appointment on December 16, 2025. Prior to this role, he served as Deputy Minister of Higher Education.

During the meeting, Hajiji reiterated the State Government’s commitment to working closely with the Federal Government to ensure the successful implementation of policies and development initiatives for the people. 

The discussion focused on strengthening coordination between State and Federal authorities to advance Sabah’s development agenda under Mustapha’s new portfolio, designed to foster closer ties and address specific issues in Sabah and Sarawak.
