Warisan calls for action against rising burglaries
Wong also reminded residents to take proactive steps to safeguard themselves and their property, including not leaving valuables in vehicles, locking cars, and securing home doors and windows.
Kota Kinabalu: Luyang Assemblyman Samuel Wong has voiced serious concern over a series of new burglary attempts in the area, coming more than a month after previous incidents.

The latest cases follow a troubling pattern, affecting neighbourhoods such as Taman Milek, Taman Kinamount, and the newly targeted Taman Seri Menanti.

Residents have again fallen victim to attempted thefts, raising anxiety in the community.

“I have received multiple CCTV footages from residents. The suspects appear to follow a consistent modus operandi, moving around early in the morning and searching unlocked vehicles for valuables,” Wong said.
