KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said 2026 marks a fresh chapter for Sabah to move forward with determination and a renewed sense of togetherness.
He said the State Government is ready to roll out the holistic and inclusive Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) 2.0 plan to sustain prosperity and sharpen Sabah’s competitiveness.

Reflecting on 2025, Hajiji described it as a solid year of steady progress under SMJ 1.0, which laid the groundwork for continued development.
He said the renewed mandate would be carried with accountability as the government focuses on unity, good governance, political stability and development that benefits all Sabahans.
Hajiji thanked the people for their trust and extended New Year wishes of good health and well-being to Sabahans, together with his Cabinet colleagues.
