Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Land Development Board (LKTNS) distributed Income and Dividends amounting to RM21.3 million to representatives of settlers and participants from the East Coast and West Coast regions of Sabah.
A replica cheque for the income and dividends was presented by the General Manager Datuk Syaheddrul R. Joddari to the settlers’ representative, Mohd Adzlie Jaidih, witnessed by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor at a brief ceremony held at the Chief Minister’s Office in the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (DUN) building.

Also present were the Sabah State Secretary, Datuk Seri Panglima Sr Safar Untong, and Nabawan Assemblyman Datuk Abdul Ghani Mohamed Yassin.
“Despite facing various challenges, LKTNS remains committed to safeguarding the welfare of settlers and participants through prudent management and sustainable development strategies,” Syaheddrul said on Wednesday.
He said the distribution of dividends and income to 2,119 LKTNS settlers also reflects support for the commitment of the State and Federal Governments in eradicating poverty and strengthening the economy of rural communities.
