Kota Kinabalu: Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment Datuk Christina Liew said the assurance by the Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) that the 1,400km Eastern Sabah Security Zone (Esszone) from Kudat to Tawau is safe will further boost tourist confidence.

“We want everybody to feel that Sabah is a safe and secure destination,” she said, following a briefing by Esscom Commander DCP Datuk Victor Sanjos.
