PAPAR: Papar Member of Parliament Ahmad Hassan said leakages and abuse of authority must be stopped for all government agencies’ cash-saving efforts to be successful.“I favour the cash-saving measure, but if it is to be implemented, there needs to be thorough monitoring because the problem of leakages is currently the biggest challenge the public service sector is facing.
In a statement released here Sunday, he said that while many government initiatives and plans are beneficial to the people, the majority of them have failed as a result of issues at the ministry or department level.
