Kota Kinabalu: A 37-year-old Filipino claimed trial to causing grievous hurt to a local by smashing his seven teeth in a road rage incident.
Joni Abdullah made the plea before Sessions Court Judge Azreena Aziz, Friday, when his case was brought up for mention.

The proceedings were conducted via VCOSS.
Joni is accused of assaulting one Aaron Liew 21, with a metal rod at 10pm on March 29, this year along Jalan Kolam, Luyang, here.
The offence under Section 326 of the Penal Code carries a jail term of up to 20 years, on conviction.
The court set Sept 22, this year for case management and April 25-26, 2022 for hearing.
Pending the date, Joni was ordered remanded further.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Nureen Natasha Mohd Raffie appeared for the prosecution, while counsel Luke Ressa Balang defended Joni.
