Yazid also clarified that the association’s statement was not intended to question the right of any individual or party to submit a land application through legitimate channels.
KENINGAU: The Bingkor Community Welfare Association has urged relevant authorities to conduct a thorough review of an application for approximately 650 acres in the Kandang Besar area of Bunga Raya, which has attracted public attention following the circulation of information about it on social media.

Its Chairman Yazid Mohd Hasnan Tawik @ Charles said the circulation of images and documents related to the land application has raised various questions and concerns among local residents regarding the status of the land and its implications for the surrounding community.

He said the size of the land being applied for is significant and warrants careful consideration by the authorities before any decision is made.

“The association calls on the Sabah Lands and Surveys Department, the Keningau District Land Office and other relevant agencies to examine the application comprehensively, transparently and in accordance with all legal provisions and established procedures.
