Kota Kinabalu: Delegates from across the Coral Triangle left Sabah with admiration for its breathtaking sunsets, fresh seafood, vibrant local culture and, above all, the warmth of its people.

The international visitors were in Sabah recently for the 12th Marine Protected Areas (MPA) and Coral Triangle Atlas Technical Regional Exchange and MPA Technical Working Group Meeting, held at Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu.

The regional gathering brought together around 60 to 70 delegates from the six Coral Triangle member countries – Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Solomon Islands and Timor-Leste.
