Kota Kinabalu: Kota Kinabalu Journalists Association (KKJA) has appointed lawyer Natasha Goh Pei Nee as its legal advisor, with the appointment certificate presented to her at a recent committee meeting, here.
Natasha, who specialises in property, corporate and banking law, brings nearly a decade of legal experience to the role.
She graduated from the University of the West of England, Bristol in 2015 and was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2017.
She was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the Malayan High Court in 2018 and subsequently gained admission to the Sabah and Sarawak High Courts in 2021.
She began her career at T.J. Chin & Co in Selangor, where she handled property development, land transactions, commercial agreements and banking finance matters.
Following her return to Kota Kinabalu in 2020, she joined Khian Chong & Partners in 2022 and was made a partner of the firm in 2024.
Natasha is also the daughter of KKJA Chairman Datuk Jimmy Goh.
Beyond her legal practice, Natasha is active in community and youth affairs. She currently serves as Kota Kinabalu Hokkien Association Youth Wing Deputy Head and sits on the board of governors of Sabah Chung Hwa Secondary School.
