KPDN District Enforcement Chief Officer Nazatul Shima Karim said the case involved an ownerless seizure (RTT) and controlled goods exhibits consisting of 3,600 litres of petrol estimated to be worth RM7,164.
She said the immoral activity was carried out in a rather remote area to confuse authorities and conceal smuggling activities from being detected by enforcement agencies.
The department expressed its highest appreciation to the PGA for its strategic cooperation and proactive action in strengthening and ensuring the success of Ops Tiris 4.0 in comprehensively combating any misappropriation of controlled goods in the country.
“At the same time, KPDN remains committed to strengthening enforcement to ensure the supply of controlled goods remains secure and reaches the target groups, especially in facing the challenges of economic uncertainty and the global energy crisis, which place pressure on supply chains and price stability.
