KOTA KINABALU: The Madani Government may consider increasing Sabah’s special grant in Budget 2026, depending on economic conditions, said Datuk Mustapha Sakmud.

He noted the move comes as discussions continue over Sabah’s 40pc revenue claim, with the matter already raised at Cabinet level.

Meanwhile, he advised Hajj pilgrims to stay alert and follow official guidance amid security concerns in the Middle East, with 55 pilgrims from Sepanggar set to depart on May 11.
