Kuala Lumpur: A Chinese traveller was escorted off a Malaysia Airlines flight following an alleged incident involving a flight attendant during a delayed boarding, the
China Press reported.
The incident occurred on flight MH318 bound for Beijing on April 7, with a video circulating on social media showing the man arguing with airport security personnel and a crew member while seated on the aircraft.

During the exchange, the man claimed he had only “lightly tapped” the attendant and should not be barred from boarding, while the flight attendant described his actions as “very inappropriate” before security officers removed him from the plane.
A passenger, identified as Ye Yuanyi, said the situation arose amid a last-minute aircraft change that caused boarding delays, with some passengers unable to scan boarding passes and others required to obtain new ones.
He said the situation appeared chaotic with limited crowd control and translation assistance, adding he did not witness the alleged incident but believed the delay may have contributed to tensions among passengers.
