KUNAK: Road concessionaires must enhance their commitment to maintaining the quality and structural integrity of roads under their supervision to ensure the safety of road users, said Datuk Seri Anil Sandhu, the Youth Development, Sports Advancement and Creative Economy Assistant Minister and Kunak  Assemblyman.

Speaking to Daily Express on Friday, Anil emphasised that the government allocates substantial funds to appoint concession companies to maintain infrastructure, including rural village roads.

He pointed out that many of these roads, some of which are old and have been in use for years, require frequent monitoring and scheduled maintenance to prevent extensive damage that could lead to costly repairs.
